MISSION TEAMS

We thank God for every mission group that visits us.  Their visits are a time of refreshing and inspiration for our team.  Every mission team reaches out to the San José Pinula Community in a different way.  The children and their families are always blessed beyond measure.

The recent visit from a group of Canadian ladies was such a blessing for the children.  Many children gave their lives to the Lord.  All of them enjoyed the craft time.  The parents were also able to hear the gospel presented in a simple, direct way.

The youth group from Faith Landmarks Ministries in Virginia visited us the first week of August.  Their presentations in the local schools helped to pave the way for more aggresive teaching on our part.  We are eager to reap the fruit of this visit.  All of the young people who made up this group played an important role in forever changing the lives of so many children, youth, and adults in San José Pinula and Guatemala City.

UPCOMING EVENTS

We are making plans to visit Quetzaltenango, Guatemala's second largest city, to teach and preach in schools and other outreaches.

In October Asociación Brazos Abiertos will celebrate the National Day of the Child.  And in November we are planning a medical clinic to minister to the needs of the families in our Bible Clubs.

If you would like to donate towards any of these future projects, please click on the button below.

PREACHING AS INVITATIONS ALLOW:

good news.jpg In youth jails, at parenting schools, at retreats, to youth groups, and much more.

As always, our team is kept busy accepting as many invitations as our schedule will allow. Recently Sarah was invited to speak at a parents' meeting at a local public school. She taught the parents to value their children as precious gifts from God encouraged them to speak words of life and blessing over their children.

Francisco and Sarah were invited to preach to a group of young people in zone 1 on the topic of sexual purity. The girls and boys were divided so that Francisco and Sarah could speak openly and honestly about this much needed topic. Nearly 100 young people were in attendance. Many of the young girls repented of past sins and cried as the Lord healed and restored broken hearts. The young men were confronted with the importance of making right decisions and were lead in a prayer of consecration.

Alfonso will be ministering soon to a group of young people. We know the Lord will use him to bring them in touch with their destiny in the Lord.
